Construction Requires Closure of State Highway 612 On-Ramp in Springdale

BENTON COUNTY (5-17) – Contractor warranty work will require closing an entrance ramp from northbound Interstate 49 to State Highway 612 (Future Highway 412 Bypass) in Springdale, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.

Weather permitting, the northbound I-49 Exit 77 ramp will be closed for six days, beginning on Monday, May 20 at 5:00 a.m. and continuing through Saturday, May 25 at 11:59 p.m.

Northbound I-49 traffic traveling west to Cave Springs/Elm Springs will be detoured to Exit 78 and can proceed west on State Highway 264.

Electronic advance warning signs will be used along with traffic drums and barricades. Traffic will be restored prior to the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend.
