PULASKI & LONOKE COUNTIES (5-25) – Construction work on U.S. Highway 67 frontage road T.P. White Drive and John Harden Drive in Pulaski and Lonoke Counties requires intermittent lane closures, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.

Continuing Tuesday night, May 30, crews will be working on box culvert construction under T.P. White Drive and John Harden Drive adjacent to U.S. Highway 67 between Vandenberg Boulevard in Jacksonville and State Highway 5 in Cabot. The northbound and southbound lanes of T.P. White Drive and/or John Harden will alternately be closed in multiple areas within the construction zone. Traffic will be reduced to one open lane and controlled with flagging operations.

The lane closures will be in effect from Tuesday night, May 30 at 8:00 p.m. through Saturday morning, June 3 at 1:00 p.m., weather permitting.

The public is advised to be cautious when traveling in the work zones.

This project (Job CA0605) is part of AHTD's Connecting Arkansas Program and includes widening 4.6 miles of U.S. Highway 67 from Vandenberg Boulevard in Jacksonville to State Highway 5 in Cabot. The highway is being widened to three lanes in each direction. More information on this $79.2 million project is available at ConnectingArkansasProgram.com.
