PULASKI & LONOKE COUNTIES (9-7) – Construction work on U.S. Highway 67 in Pulaski and Lonoke Counties requires lane closures, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ArDOT) officials.

Crews will be working on U.S. Highway 67 and its frontage roads between Vandenberg Boulevard in Jacksonville and State Highway 5 in Cabot. Lane closures will begin Sunday, September 10, weather permitting.

  • Highway 67, Northbound Lanes
    Both lanes of northbound Highway 67 will be alternately closed daily between 8:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m., from September 10 to September 16. Traffic will be controlled using signage and barrels.
  • Highway 67, Southbound Lanes
    Both lanes of southbound Highway 67 will be alternately closed daily between 7:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., from September 10 to September 16. Traffic will be controlled using signage and barrels.
  • T.P. White Drive and John Harden Drive, Northbound and Southbound Lanes
    The northbound and southbound lanes of T.P. White Drive and John Harden Drive will alternately be closed in multiple areas. The closures occur Sunday, September 10 at 7:00 p.m. through Saturday, September 16 at 5:00 p.m. Traffic will be reduced to one open lane and controlled with flagging operations.

This project (Job CA0605) is part of ArDOT's Connecting Arkansas Program and includes widening 4.6 miles of U.S. Highway 67 from Vandenberg Boulevard in Jacksonville to State Highway 5 in Cabot. The highway is being widened to three lanes in each direction. More information on this $79.2 million project is available at ConnectingArkansasProgram.com.
