LONOKE COUNTY (11-01) – Guardrail repair on U.S. Highway 67 in Lonoke County requires lane closures, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ArDOT) officials.

On Thursday, November 2, crews will be repairing guardrail in the median for Highway 67 northbound lanes at the interchange with State Highway 5 in Cabot. Northbound lanes will alternately be closed within the work area to allow crews to make the repairs. The lane closures will occur Thursday, November 2 between 6:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

Traffic will be will be controlled with construction barrels and message boards.

This project (Job CA0605) is part of ArDOT's Connecting Arkansas Program and includes widening 4.6 miles of U.S. Highway 67 from Vandenberg Boulevard in Jacksonville to State Highway 5 in Cabot. The highway is being widened to three lanes in each direction. More information on this $79.2 million project is available at ConnectingArkansasProgram.com.
