PULASKI COUNTY (11-25) Crews taking soil samples will require lane closures on Interstate 30 in Little Rock and North Little Rock, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.

Work will require alternately closing the inside and outside lanes of eastbound and westbound I-30 within the work zone between the I-30 South Terminal (mile marker 137) and the I-30 North Terminal (mile marker 143). Traffic will be controlled using traffic cones and advance warning signs.

Lane closures will be Monday, November 30 through Friday, December 18, weather permitting.

Weekday lane closures will be between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Weekend lane closures will be between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Night lane closures will be between 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.

This work is part of AHTD's proposed project to widen I-30 in Little Rock and North Little Rock between Interstate 40 and Interstate 530, including the Arkansas River Bridge, as well as improvements to I-40 from JFK Boulevard to Highway 67.
