SALINE COUNTY (3-7) – Bridge work in preparation of widening Interstate 30 to six lanes between U.S. Highway 70 and Benton requires overnight lane closures in Saline County, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.

Weather permitting, various lanes on I-30 and its frontage roads will be closed to hang netting on the South Street overpass. Lanes will be closed overnight Monday night, March 11 through Friday night, March 15. The contractor will begin with eastbound I-30 closures, and once complete, move to westbound closures.

Interstate traffic will be controlled with construction barrels and signage. Frontage road traffic will be controlled with flaggers, barrels, and signage. The public is advised to be cautious when traveling in the work zone. Areas adjacent to the interstate may experience noise impacts during nighttime hours.
