BENTON COUNTY (4-16) – Bridge rehabilitation on Interstate 49 in Rogers requires lane closures, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.

Weather permitting, northbound Interstate 49 will be reduced to one open lane for rehabilitation work on the bridge over New Hope Road (Exit 83). The outside and center lanes will be closed between mile markers 82 and 84 from Friday, April 20 at 9:00 p.m. to Saturday, April 21 at 9:00 p.m. The on and off ramps at Exit 83 will remain open during the work.

Traffic will be controlled using barrels and construction signage. The public is advised to be cautious if traveling in this work zone and are encouraged to find alternative routes to avoid the interstate closure.
