Construction work to demolish the I-30 westbound river bridge will require a temporary full closure of 3rd Street in Little Rock.

Weather permitting, crews will close 3rd Street between Ferry and Mahlon Martin streets in Little Rock at 6 p.m. Friday evening, September 30 through 5 a.m. Monday morning, October 3. See map NR 22-247-A for additional details.

Traffic on 3rd Street will detour to Dean Kumpuris Street, President Clinton Avenue, and Sherman Street. During bridge demolition work, areas adjacent to the interstate may experience noise impacts, primarily during daytime hours.

Traffic will be controlled by signage, construction barrels, and barriers. The public is advised to be cautious when traveling in the work zone and watch for slower traffic speeds.
