Traffic advisories for Connecting Arkansas Program projects
Weather permitting, crews will be closing lanes and relocating traffic in areas along Highway 270 and at its connections with Crystal Hill Road and Highway 227. This work will occur between Monday, May 16 and Thursday, June 30, 2022. Lanes will be closed at various times during this phase of construction and crews will work to re-open lanes whenever possible at the end of each day. Overhead sign installation on the Interstate 49 (Bella Vista Bypass) eastbound ramp to Highway 71 in Bentonville will require lane closures next week. Weather permitting, crews will close the two outside lanes of eastbound ramp traffic for periodic 15-minute intervals. The closure will occur during overnight hours Tuesday, May 10 through Saturday morning, May 14. The inside lanes will remain open. May 10 2022 to May 14 2022
Weather permitting, crews will be working in the eastbound and westbound lanes between U.S. Highway 70 (Exit 111) and Sevier Street in Benton (Exit 116). This continues the ongoing work to widen the Interstate, and lane closures will be periodically utilized May 1-31. Construction to widen Highway 270 to five lanes in Garland County requires lane closures on the highway. Weather permitting, crews will be working on Highway 270 between Bull Bayou Road and Bonita Street in Garland County. Rolling lane closures will periodically be utilized from Apr. 1 to Apr. 30, 2022. Depending on the location, an eastbound or westbound lane will be closed to allow crews to work. Under lane closure conditions, traffic may be reduced to one open lane during daytime hours between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Apr 01 2022 to Apr 30 2022
