Improvements Require Lane Closures on Interstate 49 in Benton County

BENTON COUNTY (6-18) – Construction work on Interstate 49 in Bentonville and Rogers requires nighttime lane closures, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.
Weather permitting, crews will be placing final striping and pavement markings on Interstate 49. Northbound and southbound lanes will alternately be closed between Southeast Walton Boulevard (Exit 85) and Central Avenue/State Highway 72 (Exit 88). These closures will occur between 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. from Wednesday, June 20 through Friday, June 29.
Traffic will be controlled using signage and barrels. The public is advised to be cautious if traveling in this work zone and are encouraged to find alternative routes to avoid the interstate closure.
