BENTON COUNTY (7-28) – Construction to build the new Highway 549 (Bella Vista Bypass) interchange with U.S. Highway 71 and Interstate 49 in Bentonville requires a partial closure of the Wishing Springs Trail, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.
Weather permitting, crews will close a section of the Wishing Springs Trail within the work zone beginning Monday, August 3, 2020. The trail will be closed southeast of the existing Bella Vista Bypass roundabout to the northbound Highway 71 on-ramp. The closure will be in place throughout the project’s construction. See the attached map for further information.
