BENTON COUNTY | May 6, 2022

Overhead sign installation on the Interstate 49 (Bella Vista Bypass) eastbound ramp to Highway 71 in Bentonville will require lane closures next week.

Weather permitting, crews will close the two outside lanes of eastbound ramp traffic for periodic 15-minute intervals. The closure will occur during overnight hours Tuesday, May 10 through Saturday morning, May 14. The inside lanes will remain open.

Traffic will be controlled by signage, construction barrels, and police enforcement. Watch for warning signs and safety personnel during the work. The public is advised to be cautious when traveling in the work zone and watch for slower traffic speeds.

This project (Job CA0903) is part of ARDOT’s Connecting Arkansas Program and included constructing approximately 2.8 miles of roadway with bridge structures on Interstate 49, including a new Bella Vista Bypass interchange with U.S. Highway 71 in Bentonville.
