LITTLE ROCK (4-13) – Improvements to Interstate 40 and 430 will require lane closures in North Little Rock, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.

Crews will place concrete for the widening of I-430 southbound. The work will require closing the I-430 southbound inside lane near the I-40/430 Interchange.

The lane closure will occur Friday, April 17th at 9:00 p.m. and continue until Monday, April 20th at 6:00 a.m., weather permitting. Traffic will be controlled using, barrels, electronic message boards and warning signs. This project is part of AHTD's Connecting Arkansas Program and includes widening 5.1 miles of Interstate 40 to 3 lanes between Highway 365 and Interstate 430.
