Arkansas Highway Commission Approves Bid for Improvements in Greene & Lawrence County (CA1003)

GREENE & LAWRENCE COUNTY (1-28) - The Arkansas State Highway Commission has approved a bid for improvements to a roadway in Greene & Lawrence County, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.
The purpose of this project is to widen approximately 14.3 miles of U.S. Highway 412 to four lanes between U.S. Highway 67 and State Highway 141, west of Paragould.
Atlas Asphalt, Inc. - Delta Asphalt of Arkansas, Inc. of Batesville was awarded the contract at $58,516,744.20.
Construction is scheduled to begin in two to four weeks, weather permitting. Completion is expected in mid 2022.
