Construction Requires Lane Closures on New Hope Road in Rogers

BENTON COUNTY (10-04) – Bridge construction on Interstate 49 in Rogers requires nighttime lane closures, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ArDOT) officials.
On Thursday night, October 5, crews will be performing construction on the I-49 bridge over New Hope Road at Exit 83. Eastbound and westbound lanes on New Hope Road will alternately be closed between 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. to allow for construction. No impacts are expected for traffic on I-49 or the ramps at Exit 83.
Traffic will be controlled using signage and traffic barrels.
This project (Job CA0901) is part of ArDOT's Connecting Arkansas Program and included widening 5 miles of I-49 to three lanes in each direction. The work extends from State Highway 264 in Lowell to New Hope Road in Rogers. More information on this $38.7 million project is available at ConnectingArkansasProgram.com.
