BENTON COUNTY (11-15) – Construction work on State Highway 72 in Bentonville requires daytime lane closures, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.

Beginning Thursday, November 17, crews will be laying pipe across Highway 72 east of the I-49 overpass, and westbound and eastbound lanes will alternately be closed to allow for construction. One lane of traffic will remain open during the work, which begins 1,000 feet east of the bridge and ends prior to the on and off ramps at the I-49 and Highway 72 intersection.

The lane closures will occur from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., weather permitting. Traffic will be controlled using signage, barrels and flaggers.

Thursday, November 17 through Friday, November 18
Monday, November 21 through Wednesday, November 23
