Overnight Ramp Closure Scheduled for the Highway 70/Interstate 30 Interchange in Saline County

Construction to widen Interstate 30 (I-30) to six lanes in Saline County will require closing the Highway 70 ramp to I-30 east overnight from 9 p.m. Wednesday, February 21 through 5 a.m. Thursday, February 22 to install overhead signage.
Traffic will not be able to use the Highway 70 ramp to I-30 eastbound during this closure and traffic will need to follow the signed detours. See attached detour map NR 24-062-A. The detour is as follows:
- Take ramp to I-30 west
- West on I-30 to Exit 106 (Old Military Road)
- Take overpass toward Highway 67
- East on Highway 67 to return to I-30 east
Traffic will be controlled with construction barrels, barricades, and signage. The public is advised to be cautious when traveling in the work zone and watch for slower traffic speeds. Areas adjacent to the Interstate may experience noise impacts during nighttime hours.
This project (Job CA0601) is part of ARDOT’s Connecting Arkansas Program and includes widening 5.5 miles of Interstate 30 to three lanes in each direction, from the interchange with U.S. Highway 70 (Exit 111) to Sevier Street in Benton (Exit 116).
