Arkansas Highway Commission Approves Bid for Improvements in Pulaski County

PULASKI COUNTY (4-18) – The Arkansas State Highway Commission has approved a bid for improvements to a roadway in Pulaski County, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officals.
The purpose of this project is to widen 2.2 miles of Interstate 630 between Baptist Hospital and University Avenue.
Manhattan Road & Bridge Co. of Tulsa, OK was awarded the contract at $87,384,772.06.
Construction is scheduled to begin in two to four weeks, weather permitting. Completion is expected in early 2020.
