Construction Requires Overnight Frontage Road Closure at South Street in Benton

Construction on the Interstate 30 frontage road (on the north side of the interstate) requires an overnight closure at the South Street roundabout in Benton.
Weather permitting, crews will close the frontage road roundabout during overnight hours Tuesday, April 25 from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. During this closure, crews will restripe pavement within the roundabout. Local traffic may use alternate adjacent roads to navigate around the closure.
Traffic will be controlled with construction barrels, barricades, and signage. The public is advised to be cautious when traveling in the work zone and watch for slower traffic speeds. Areas adjacent to the Interstate may experience noise impacts during nighttime hours.
This project (Job CA0601) is part of ARDOT’s Connecting Arkansas Program and includes widening 5.5 miles of Interstate 30 to three lanes in each direction, from the interchange with U.S. Highway 70 (Exit 111) to Sevier Street in Benton (Exit 116).
