Construction to widen Highway 270 (Albert Pike Road) to five lanes in Garland County requires lane closures along the highway for final road paving in Hot Springs.

Weather permitting, crews will alternately close single lanes on Highway 270 from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Expressway to Fleetwood Drive to perform paving operations. This work will occur primarily at night from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., Sunday night, May 7 through Wednesday night, May 31. One lane of traffic will remain open in each direction.

Traffic will be controlled with traffic cones and message boards. The public is advised to be cautious when traveling in the work zone and watch for slower traffic speeds.
