NR #23-142

Construction to widen Highway 67 to six lanes between Main Street and Vandenberg Boulevard in Jacksonville requires a temporary detour of John Harden Drive.

Weather permitting, crews will close John Harden Drive from Gregory Street to North James Street Sunday, May 14 through Friday, May 19. This maintenance of the traffic plan will allow construction crews to perform drainage work along John Harden Drive. Detours will be signed to use Gregory Street and North James Street to return to John Harden Drive. See detour map NR 23-142-A for additional information.

Highway 67/167 southbound ramps within the detoured section of John Harden Drive will be closed. Southbound Highway 67/167 traffic exiting to North James Street (Exit 10A) will need to use the Gregory Street exit (Exit 10B). Detoured traffic needing to access Highway 67/167 southbound may use the entrance ramp south of North James Street along James Harden Drive.

This project (Job CA0604) is part of ARDOT’s Connecting Arkansas Program and includes widening 2.5 miles of Highway 67 to six lanes, between Main Street (Exit 9) and Vandenberg Boulevard (Exit 11) in Jacksonville.
