LITTLE ROCK (6-6) – The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department will hold a public involvement meeting in Beebe to present and discuss proposed plans to widen Highway 64. The work will extend from Turner Road to County Road 5, between Vilonia and Beebe. This project is part of the department's Connecting Arkansas Program.

The meeting will be held on Thursday, June 12 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Union Valley Baptist Church (Fellowship Hall). It is located at 932 Highway 64 West in Beebe.

The public is invited to visit any time during the scheduled hours to view displays, ask questions and offer comments. For more information, contact the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department's Connecting Arkansas Program manager at 501-255-1519.
