Construction Requires Lane Closures on U.S. Highway 412 in Greene County

GREENE COUNTY (6-11) – Construction work to widen U.S. Highway 412 requires lane closures in Greene County, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.
Weather permitting, lane closures on U.S. Highway 412 will be active 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, from Thursday, June 13 through Friday, June 28. Traffic will be reduced to one open lane between Greene County Road 204 and Greene County Road 332. Eastbound and westbound lanes will alternately be closed for asphalt overlay operations. These lane closures are in addition to work areas between U.S. Highway 67 in Lawrence County and the Cache River.
Traffic will be controlled by flagging operations, signage, and traffic cones. The public is advised to be cautious when traveling in the work zone and can expect delays due to the flagging operations and one-lane traffic.
This project (Job CA1003) is part of ARDOT's Connecting Arkansas Program to widen approximately 14.5 miles of U.S. Highway 412 to four lanes between U.S. Highway 67 in Lawrence County and State Highway 141 in Greene County.
