Work on Highway 412 Requires Lane Closures in Lawrence and Greene Counties

LAWRENCE & GREENE COUNTIES (6-18) – Crews will use lane closures for asphalt placement and embankment operations on Highway 412 in Lawrence and Greene counties over the next few months during daytime hours, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.
Weather permitting, crews will alternately close eastbound and westbound lanes on Hwy. 412 in varying locations between Hwy. 67 and approximately 2 miles east of the Cache River bridge. The lane closures will occur Monday, June 21 through September during weekdays from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Traffic will be controlled by traffic barrels, signage, and flagging operations. In some cases, traffic will be stopped for up to 15 minutes to only allow a single lane of traffic through the work zone. The public should expect delays, be cautious when traveling in the work zone, and watch for slower traffic speeds.
This project (Job CA1003) is part of ARDOT's Connecting Arkansas Program to widen approximately 14.5 miles of Highway 412 to four lanes between Highway 67 in Lawrence County and Highway 141 in Greene County.
