Work on Interstate 30 (I-30) in Little Rock and North Little Rock involves lane closures during the week of Monday, June 24.

Daytime lane closures will take place 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Overnight lane closures will occur 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. If required, double-lane closures on Interstate lanes will be limited between 11 p.m. and 4 a.m. Traffic will be controlled by construction barrels and signage. Drivers should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all work zones.

Open Turnaround at Broadway Street

  • A new U-Turn lane from Cypress Street to N Locust Street will open at Broadway Street in North Little Rock beginning Monday, June 24; this will allow traffic to access frontage roads without entering signaled intersections on Broadway Street

Final North Interchange Traffic Shift

  • Over the weekend of June 21st, a minor traffic shift will occur in the I-30/Interstate 40 (I-40) interchange beginning at 8 p.m. Friday, June 21 and through Sunday, June 23; this shift will place traffic in its final alignment; additional construction activities will continue in this location before work is complete

Daytime closures

  • I-30 frontage road southbound (single-lane closures) between 6th and 10th streets in Little Rock
  • Cypress Street southbound (single-lane closure) between 5th and Broadway streets in North Little Rock
  • Broadway Street (single-lane closures) between Magnolia and Pine Streets in North Little Rock
  • Locust Street northbound (single-lane closure) between Broadway and 5th streets, and between Curtis Sykes Drive and 17th Street, in North Little Rock

Overnight closures

  • I-30 (single and double-lane closures and traffic shifts) between Roosevelt Road in Little Rock and Interstate 40 (I-40) in North Little Rock
  • I-30/I-40 lanes and ramps (single and double-lane closures) at the north terminal in North Little Rock
  • I-630 eastbound ramp (Exit 140) to I-30 eastbound (full closure) and I-630 eastbound ramp to I-30 northbound frontage road (full closure) in Little Rock; ramp closures will not occur simultaneously; detours signed
  • I-30 frontage road northbound (single-lane closure) between the I-30 off-ramp (Exit 140) and 6th Street in Little Rock
  • I-30 frontage road southbound on-ramp to I-30 westbound (full closure) in Little Rock near Interstate, detours signed
  • Cypress Street southbound (single-lane closure) between 5th and Broadway streets in North Little Rock
  • Broadway Street (single-lane closures) between Magnolia and Pine streets in North Little Rock
  • Locust Street northbound (single-lane closure) between Broadway and 5th streets, and between Curtis Sykes Drive and 17th Street, in North Little Rock

24-hour closures

  • Riverfront Drive eastbound and westbound (full closure) between Pine and Olive streets in North Little Rock; depending on which direction is closed, there will be two-way traffic on Riverfront Drive eastbound or westbound at all times
