PULASKI COUNTY | May 7, 2026
NR# 26-063
Construction to widen Highway 67/167 (Interstate 57) to six lanes between Main Street and Vandenberg Boulevard in Jacksonville requires a temporary closure of the southbound exit ramp to Vandenberg Boulevard (Exit 11) from 8 p.m. Monday night, May 11,through 5 a.m. Tuesday morning, May 12.
Weather permitting, crews will close the Highway 67/167 (Interstate 57) southbound exit ramp to Vandenberg Boulevard (Exit 11) to allow striping and traffic signal work.
A signed detour will be in place directing traffic to the Highway 67/167 (Interstate 57) southbound exit ramp to North James Street (Exit 10). Traffic may then take North James Street to Highway 67/167 (Interstate 57) northbound and use the northbound exit ramp for Vandenberg Boulevard (Exit 11).
Traffic will be controlled with message boards, construction barrels, and barricades. Be cautious when traveling in the work zone and watch for slower traffic speeds.
