UPDATE: Overnight Closure Scheduled for the I-30 Westbound to Highway 70 in Saline County

Construction to widen Interstate 30 (I-30) to six lanes in Saline County will require closing the I-30 westbound off-ramp to Highway 70 during overnight hours 10 p.m. Wednesday, September 18 through 6 a.m. Thursday, September 19.
Weather permitting, crews will close the I-30 westbound off-ramp to Highway 70 (Exit 111) to shift traffic onto new ramp pavement. Signed detours will be in place to navigate around the ramp closure. See detour map NR 24-293-A for more information. Accommodations will be made to allow emergency vehicles to access closed ramps.
- I-30 westbound off-ramp to Highway 70 (Exit 111). Traffic will continue on I-30 west, take Exit 106 (Old Military Road), return to I-30 east, and take Exit 111 (Highway 70).
Traffic will be controlled with message boards, construction barrels, barricades, and signage. The public is advised to be cautious when traveling in the work zone and watch for slower traffic speeds. Areas adjacent to the Interstate may experience noise impacts during nighttime hours.
This project (Job CA0601) is part of ARDOT’s Connecting Arkansas Program and includes widening 5.5 miles of Interstate 30 to three lanes in each direction, from the interchange with U.S. Highway 70 (Exit 111) to Sevier Street in Benton (Exit 116).
