CALHOUN COUNTY (2-28) - The Arkansas State Highway Commission has approved a bid for improvements to a roadway in Calhoun County, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.
The purpose of this project is to widen 7.1 miles of State Highway 167 starting at State Highway 274 and continuing northward.
D & J Construction Co., LLC of West Monroe, LA was awarded the contract at $28,964,146.84.
Construction is scheduled to begin in two to four weeks, weather permitting. Completion is expected in early 2020.
