Advance Notice

Construction Requires Temporary Closure of McGowan Street
in Little Rock

PULASKI COUNTY | September 22, 2022

Construction on the 30 Crossing project will require a long-term closure of McGowen Street in Little Rock in early October.

As part of the 30 Crossing scope, a new on-ramp will be constructed to directly connect the I-30 westbound frontage road with I-630 westbound. The single-lane ramp will begin south of 9th Street and connect with the two-lane I-30 westbound ramp to I-630. The closure at McGowan Street will allow crews to begin construction. Weather permitting, this street closure is scheduled to begin Saturday, October 1.

I-30 westbound frontage road traffic will detour to 11th Street and continue along McMath Avenue to access the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law or Pulaski County Lane. See map NR 22-232-A for additional information.

The I-30 westbound on-ramp to I-630 westbound and the frontage road on-ramp to I-30 westbound will remain open during this work.

A long-term and permanent travel impact interactive map is available at 30Crossing.com, along with additional project information.
